The audition will be about twenty minutes long and will be filmed. You will be asked to perform the following at the audition.

1) 47 seconds of RePliCa. Click here to download the mp3 with just a click track and drums to prepare.

2) 38 seconds of Ice Man. Click here to download the mp3 with just a click track and drums to prepare.

There won't be any backing music at the audition, just you and the drums.

3) Your choice of performance that you feel best shows your drumming abilities.

I'll have a drum kit set up for you to use. It's a starter kit so it's basic (snare, kick, toms, high hat, cymbol). I don't have a double-bass drum pedal however and Ice Man uses one. If you have one, please bring it. If you don't, please play it the best you can without the double-bass.

I'll also ask you a few questions, and feel free to ask me questions as well.

You should have already contacted me for an audition time. The audition will be held at Alan Weight Music Studios on 959 East 900 South in Salt Lake City. Here is a map in .PDF format.

You can park in the front of the building or in the back. In the back there is an empty pet clinic that has moved so feel free to park there. The rehearsal room is behind the main building, is all brick, and about the size of 2 car garage.
