The audition will be about twenty minutes long and will be filmed. You will be asked to perform the following at the audition.

1) 1 minute and 15 seconds of R.I.P. Click here to download the mp3 with just a click track and bass to prepare. Since the bass is so simple, feel free to improvise.

2) Your choice of performance that you feel best shows your bass abilities. Since the bass work on Scythe is quite simple, I would love to hear something more challenging. If you need notes please contact me (contact info at the bottom).

There won't be any backing music at the audition, just you and the bass.

I'll have an amp with cables ready for you to plug in to. Just bring your bass.

I'll also ask you a few questions, and feel free to ask me questions as well.

You should have already contacted me for an audition time. The audition will be held at Alan Weight Music Studios on 959 East 900 South in Salt Lake City. Here is a map in .PDF format.

You can park in the front of the building or in the back. In the back there is an empty pet clinic that has moved so feel free to park there. The rehearsal room is behind the main building, is all brick, and about the size of 2 car garage.
